Hello everyone and welcome to Episode 7 of the Crag Chat Climbing Podcast. I’m Courtney, a climber living in Ohio. Today I got the chance to sit down with Kaya Lindsay, a climber, writer, filmmaker, and photographer whose work and attitude towards life I have admired from afar for years. Kaya and I chat about the most scared she’s ever been on a route and her current projects in both climbing and the creative world. We chat about the process of writing her first book, the value and struggle of finding good climbing partners, and the ways in which alcohol has played a role in our lives. We also talk a bit about the time she spent climbing in Vedavoo and her resulting short film, Girls Gone Wide, that details that period.
